The Journal
This journal exists for one reason: honesty. Not just about results — but about decisions.
You will see wins, losses, missed trades, and mistakes. Each entry focuses on whether the rules were followed and what was learned.
How to read this journal
- Results matter, but they are not the headline.
- Rule-following is primary.
- Losses are normal. Breaking rules is the real red flag.
- No cherry-picking. Every session is logged.
A good loss with rules followed is progress. A lucky win with broken rules is a warning.
What each entry includes
- The plan: what setup was identified.
- The execution: entry, exit, and management.
- Rule check: followed or violated.
- The result: win, loss, or scratch.
- The lesson: what to repeat or correct.
Faith, discipline, and responsibility
Faith here is not about expecting the market to reward us. It’s about trusting the process, acting with restraint, and being a good steward of capital and mindset.
“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.”
— Proverbs 16:3
Commitment here means preparation, discipline, and review — not entitlement to outcomes.
How success is defined
- Rules followed consistently
- Risk respected
- Emotional decisions reduced
- Lessons captured honestly
“The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance.”
— Proverbs 21:5
Transparency commitment
This journal will not be edited to look better than it is. Losses will stay visible. Drawdowns will stay visible. That’s how trust is built — and how discipline grows.
If you’re using this system yourself, journal the same way. You don’t grow by hiding from the truth.
Read with the right expectation
This journal is not a template to copy trades. It’s a window into process, restraint, and review.
“Whoever is faithful in little is faithful also in much.”
— Luke 16:10
